The purpose of this Privacy Notice is to illustrate how Zikshaa Private Limited collects, uses, and shares information about you through our online interfaces (e.g., websites and mobile applications) owned and managed by us, including but not limited to www.zikshaa.com (collectively referred to herein as the “Site“). Information this privacy policy covers

This Privacy Policy covers information/data we collect from you through our Site. Some of our Site’s features can be used without disclosing any Personally Identifiable Information, though, for full features or Services related to the Content/Course Offerings, Personally Identifiable Information is required. To access certain features and benefits on our Site, you may need to submit, or we may collect Personally Identifiable Information.

Personally identifiable information can include information such as your name, email address, IP address, and device identifier, among other things. Updates. Zikshaa may offer you the ability to receive updates either via email or by posting on portions of the website only accessible to registered users. To subscribe to these Services, you may be asked to provide us with the Personally Identifiable Information such as your name and email address.

Forums. Zikshaa may offer public forums from time to time (the “Forums”) where you can share comments and thoughts. To participate in the Forums, you may be required to register with us and/or provide us with Personally Identifiable Information such as your name and email address. Please keep in mind that information you post or make available in Forums will be publicly available. You should not include any Personally Identifiable Information or other information of a personal or sensitive nature, whether relating to you or another person, in a Forum post. Identity verification. Zikshaa may ask you the verify your identity for select Services. To enrol for these Services, you may be required to provide us or our third-party identity verification vendor with Personally Identifiable Information such as your name, address, date of birth, a headshot was taken using a webcam, and a photo identification document. Additionally, if you apply for financial aid in connection with these Services, you may be required to provide information regarding your income.

Communications with Zikshaa. We may receive Personally Identifiable Information when you send us an email message or otherwise contact us.

Third-party sites. We may receive Personally Identifiable Information when you access or log-in to a third party site, e.g., Facebook, from our Sites. This may include the text and/or images of your Personally Identifiable Information available from the third party site.

Surveys. We may receive Personally Identifiable Information when you provide information in response to a survey operated by us or a Content Provider.

Third-party credit card processing. Zikshaa provides you with the ability to pay for Course/Content Offerings and other Services using a credit/debit card through a third party payment processing service provider. Please Policy that our service provider – not Zikshaa – collects and processes your payment information.

How we use the information

We use your data to do things like provide our Services, communicate with you, troubleshoot issues, secure against fraud and abuse, improve and update our Services, analyze how people use our Services, serve personalized advertising, and as required by law or necessary for safety and integrity.

• Manage your account preferences;
• Facilitate the Services’ technical functioning, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, securing the Services, and preventing fraud and abuse;
• Solicit feedback from users;
• Market and administer surveys and promotions administered or sponsored by Zikshaa;
• Learn more about you by linking your data with additional data through third-party data providers or analyzing the data with the help of analytics service providers;
• Identify unique users across devices;
• Tailor advertisements across devices;

No information from children under 13

We recognize the privacy interests of children and encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. Children under 13 should not use the Services. If we learn that we’ve collected personal data from a child under those ages, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
